Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what data TryPage, operated by Thinks Company ("we", "us"), collects, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email and password. Passwords are stored hashed and we cannot read them. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • Business page content: name, description, address, phone and WhatsApp numbers, social links, opening hours, menu and images. This content is public.
  • Follows: which pages you follow and when you started.
  • Contact requests: your name, WhatsApp number, request type, page link and message.
  • Page statistics: we record page visits and taps on page buttons (such as WhatsApp, call and map) with the time, page language and visit source (such as a QR scan). These statistics do not store visitors' IP addresses or identities.
  • Technical data: our hosting providers may log data such as IP address and browser type for security and to run the service.

How we use data

  • To run your account and page and show it to visitors.
  • To let business owners see their page statistics and follower list.
  • To answer contact, verification and support requests.
  • To protect the platform from abuse and improve it.

We do not sell your personal data.

What others can see

  • A business page's content and follower count are visible to all visitors.
  • When you follow a page, its owner sees your display name and the date you followed. Your email is never shown to anyone.

Sharing data

We share data only with the service providers we need to run the platform, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and image storage.
  • Our website hosting provider: serving the platform's pages.
  • Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

When you tap a WhatsApp, map or social link you go to an external service with its own privacy policy. We may disclose data when a competent authority lawfully requires it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: session cookies to keep you signed in, and one cookie to remember the language you chose. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Retention

  • We keep your account and page data while your account exists, and delete it when you ask.
  • We keep contact requests for up to 24 months.
  • Backups may remain for a limited time before they are permanently deleted.

Your rights

You can access, correct and ask us to delete your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent, in line with Jordan's personal data protection law. To use any of these rights, message us through contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

Security

We use encrypted connections, fine-grained database permissions that stop any user from reaching someone else's data, and a log of every change our admin team makes.

Transfers outside Jordan

Data may be stored on our providers' servers outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with appropriate safeguards.

Children

The platform is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will publish the new version on this page with its effective date.
